2/3... .272. Yeah. I was up to .274 before my last at bat. Didn't I set my goal for .270-.275? I'm there. Hah. It'd be nice to go even higher, I'm just working on keeping it steady.
We lost. We shouldn't have. Bullpen blew it... of course... when doesn't that happen?
Ah well. 14-43.

From Royals.com...
I'm excited by the four signings by the Royals. Any idea on a projected lineup? -- T.J.N., Shawnee, Kan.
If tomorrow were Opening Day, I'd look for the following players to take the field:
David DeJesus, CF Mark Grudzielanek, 2B Mike Sweeney, DH Matt Stairs, 1B Emil Brown, RF Angel Berroa, SS Mark Teahen, 3B Chip Ambres/Aaron Guiel, LF John Buck, C

( Mets believe in next year. )
Nobody even mentions me. No one can tell me I'll be back next year because now it's pretty obvious that there's no chance in hell I'll be back. |

Hell yeah Mike Jacobs and his game-winning RBI in the 12th inning.
Stop the presses, the New York Mets have won two in a row for the first time since August 22-26. I think. Yeah. We suck.
I haven't played since Thursday. I'm pretty bored these days. |

Another day, another game.
We lose, Mike Jacobs hits another home run, I ride the pine some more. Typical day.
I already managed to piss off Looper today. I guess it's gonna be another boring night in the Mientkiewicz apartment. |

shit, i almost forgot what it was like to be in the starting lineup. i took swings in the batting cages until my hands were cramping and i still wasn't hitting anything hard, but willie noticed me tryin' and gave me a chance. it was nice to be out there today.
we lost, and we shouldn't have. tough one to let go. and piazza can kiss my ass. |
